The rampant violence in the Indian community is attributed to the abysmal poverty, the low literacy level, the urbanization, and some even blame it as the culture of certain caste in the community.
Whatever it is, the Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) is undoubtedly the main culprit in nurturing the increasing violence in the community. This started 40 years back from the days of Sambanthan and Manikavasagm. Violence was the order of the day at every level -- from branches, state, and national level -- in MIC and aspiring candidates must be either gangsters themselves or must hire gangsters to survive. No decent humans will put their foot in MIC as it is the last resort of scoundrels.
Of course, Samy Vellu’s iron fist rule of MIC was the golden era for unleashing violence against opponents. Those who raise questions will be bashed. Those who contest against Samy Vellu’s candidates will be bashed. Those who disobey Samy Vellu’s command will be bashed. No amount of police reports will help you. It will be a cheer waste of time. MIC people know that these gangsters are protected. Thus, the rivals in MIC also resort to gangsters for their protection.
Vickneswaran, former MIC national youth chief and ex Kota Raja Member of Parliament, was a well-known figure in Samy Road for his rogue activities. Ask any Port Klang guy, they will tell you his history and his brother’s detention under emergency ordinance.
Saravanan, MIC vice president and deputy federal territory Minister, ruled Titiwangsa General Hospital area from his secondary school days until his rise in politics. Two school mates of Saravanan who are now lecturers have vouched that.
Others like Klang Bop Muniandy (now in PAS) Taman Maznah Chandran, Senator Barat Maniam, Kumar Amman, Tharmalingam and a long list of prominent gangsters ready to whack you in MIC meetings the moment you question their leaders.
On Thursday 2nd, Peoples Justice Party (PKR) Indian members headed by its vice-president Surendran and MIC youth members headed by Mohan Thangarasu violently clashed in front of Prime Minister’s office resulting in one PKR division chief, known as Puchong Murali, was seriously injured, hospitalized initially at Putrajaya Hospital and now transferred to Subang Jaya Medical Center for a specialist operation to his right eye.
A hue and cry and condemnation of the MIC youth’s violent behavior, and that too in front of Prime Minister’s office, is coming from the opposition and also from a few MIC members.
Penang deputy Chief Minister Professor Ramasamy in an apparent reaction advocated MIC President Palanivel to take immediate action on the MIC youths involved in the incident. Ramasamy further added that in the past Maika Shareholders who raise questions were similarly attacked.
“Three people, including Puchong PKR member Murali, were injured in the incident and as such MIC youths horrific behavior is intolerable. If MIC leadership failed to act on MIC youths, a mass protest rally will be held in front of MIC headquarters”, said Ramasamy according to Makkal Osai Tamil daily.
Hello! Professor, do you know who is this Puchong Murali?
Jjust watch the following video that speaks volume of Puchong Murali.
Video: Semparuthi.com
This Puchong Murali and his gang terrorized Selangor Exco Xavier Jeyakumar, terrorized Selangor Exco Elizebeth Wong, and worst of all terrorized social worker K Arumugam. Professor, did you see in the vedio how Puchong Murali chased a man and beat him?
How come, armed with strong video evidence, Puchong Murali is still holding position in PKR? Why Surendran is associating with such a character? Why PKR leadership failed to act?
Professor, if you are a man of principle you should have protested in front of PKR, similar to your threat issued to MIC leadership.
Puchong Murali was a creation of MIC. He was the one Samy Vellu arranged to assault Maika crusader Nadaraja and other shareholders who questioned at Maika Holdings annual general meetings around year 2007. Now the same gangster is in PKR. Like politicians, gangsters jump parties, too.
Puchong Murali obediently followed his MIC masters orders of sending their foes to hospital. Today the same MIC masters sent him to hospital with the possibility of losing his right eye.
MIC has long exploited the weaknesses of the urban Indians uprooted from the estates. Is PKR doing the same?
